ELK HARVESTS FOR MEAT

Black Canyon Elk offers elk for meat by the half or whole. All animals are sold by the hanging weight.

Animals are mobile butchered and delivered to the processing plant of your choice. (20 mile radius)

All of our animals are raised naturally on Idaho's native grasses, and are regularly tested for disease.

Black Canyon has a 5 year CWD certified status, along with a 7 year TB accredited herd, and all of our animals are tested for Brucellosis upon entrance into our herd.

Hanging weights will vary upon the age of the animal. Most animals are between the ages of 2-5 years old.

Elk Meat is much healthier than regular red meats, it is higher in protein than beef and low in harmful cholesterols.
